- General Information -

The Wildcat Valley Rifle & Pistol Club is a private Not-for-Profit Corporation controlled by its membership. It is located on a 41-acre facility near Brookston, Indiana. There is a clubhouse which has restroom facilities and has central A/C/heat. There is no hunting allowed on the club property.

We are an NRA and CMP affiliated club. NRA Club #C3053, CMP Club #53011

Our monthly meetings are open to the public and are held on the 1st Wednesday of each month. The meetings start at 7:30 and usually last 1 ½ hours. Many scheduled events are open to the public and are listed on the Wildcat Calendar

Members have the use of the range from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM except during scheduled events. Members each receive a key that not only opens the club main gate, but also allows use of any of the club ranges and facilities.

The gate at the entrance is normally locked unless there is a scheduled event taking place. Prospective members are invited to visit the range at one of the scheduled events, or our monthly membership meetings.

- Wildcat Valley Facilities -

Wildcat Valley Rifle & Pistol Club consists of 41 acres north of Lafayette, near the town of Brookston. There are 10 separate ranges, each with features supporting a particular style of shooting. Most ranges also have lighting. There is also a clubhouse for monthly meetings and member use.

List of ranges and corresponding numbers.

  1. 300 Yard, 10-Target Rifle Range with military style target pits, and bench-rests at the 200 & 300 yard lines.
  2. 100 Yard Silhouette Range with targets for 22 rimfire and centerfire field pistol.
  3. 25/50 Yard International Pistol & Bullseye Range, with covered firing points.
  4. 35 Yard Barricade Range.
  5. 25 Yard Pistol Falling-Plate Range.
  6. 25 Yard "Mover" Pistol Range.
  7. 50 Yard Practical Pistol Range.
  8. 25, 50, 100 Yard Sight-In Range with covered and uncovered benches.
  9. Trap and Skeet Range, with voice activated electronic throwers.
  10. Trap Range.
